Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of cold butter cubed
  • 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh herbs I love using rosemary or thyme
  • 3/4 cup of milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add butter: Cut in the cold butter until the mix looks crumbly.
  • Stir in cheese and herbs: Mix well to spread the cheese goodness.
  • Pour in milk: Stir until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll it to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Cut into shapes: Use a biscuit cutter for fun shapes.

Bake the biscuits: Place on the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
