  • Zester: Extract fresh lemon zest.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter: Cold and cubed.
  • 1 tbsp Dried Lavender: Adds a floral touch.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest: Fresh is best! 🍋
  • 3/4 cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Heat to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add Butter: Use a fork or fingers to blend until it's crumbly.
  • Stir in Lavender and Lemon Zest: Mix well.
  • Pour in Milk: Stir until just combined.
  • Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, roll 1/2-inch thick.
  • Cut Biscuits: Use the cutter for round shapes.
  • Bake: Place on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 mins until golden.

Notes

These biscuits are incredibly versatile. I prefer using fresh, organic lavender if possible for a stronger flavor. 🌿 If the dough feels too sticky, add a little more flour.
Adjust the Lavender Amount: Depending on your preference. A pinch more or less can change the flavor profile subtly, making it either bold or mild.
Serve warm with lemon curd or honey for extra sweetness. 🍯
