Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of miso paste
  • 1 block of firm tofu cut into small cubes
  • ¼ cup of sliced green onions
  • 1 cup of chopped seaweed
  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • Optional: A sprinkle of sesame seeds

I enjoy how simple these ingredients are but how tasty the final dish is!

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water in the pot over medium heat.
  • Add the seaweed and let it cook for a few minutes until tender.
  • In a small bowl, combine miso paste with hot water to make a smooth mixture.
  • Lower the heat and gently add the miso mixture to the pot.
  • Add the tofu cubes and let them warm through.
  • Stir in soy sauce and green onions.

Serve hot and enjoy this delicious soup with a sprinkle of sesame seeds! 🍲

    Notes

    Tip: Do not boil the miso soup for too long after adding the miso paste. It can change flavor and lose some of its health benefits.
    Feel free to add other ingredients like mushrooms or spinach!
