Ingredients

  • Pumpkin puree: 1 cup
  • Ricotta cheese: 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/4 cup grated
  • Sage leaves: 10-12 fresh
  • Butter: 1/4 cup
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
  • Ravioli sheets: store-bought or homemade
  • I love using fresh ingredients to maximize flavor.
  • The pumpkin puree adds a creamy texture while sage gives a lovely aroma.
  • You can use fresh-made ravioli sheets or buy them from the store.

I find both work well, just depends on the time you want to spend.

Instructions

  • Mix the filling: In the mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, ricotta, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  • Prepare ravioli: Place spoonfuls of filling on ravioli sheets, fold, and press the edges to seal.
  • Cook ravioli: Boil water in the pot, add ravioli, and cook for about 4 minutes until they float.
  • Sauté sage and butter: In the pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sage leaves until crisp.
  • Combine: Toss ravioli in the sage butter and plate it up.
  • It's so much fun making ravioli!
  • When the ravioli floats, they're ready.

The buttery, sage sauce tops it perfectly, giving a lovely aroma. 😋
